ELl Endorsement

The School of Teaching ESL delivers the Seattle University ELL Endorsement program. WA State certified teachers (or future teachers) can meet all of the OSPI requirements through online and/or onground classes. The program generally takes 12-24 months to complete. To read about this program, download the ELL Endorsement Packet, or email steslinfo@seattleu.edu for more information.

All endorsement candidates are advised by the Director before registration. Please contact Bernice Ege-Zavala at bezavala@seattleu.edu for advising.

Note: Seattle University Master’s in Teaching students may transfer credit from the MIT program into the endorsement program. Current and prospective MIT students are encouraged to contact the Director as early in their program as possible in order to outline a course plan.
