Teaching English in English certificate course

This course is designed for non-native speakers who wish to learn and improve teaching skills by learning to teach English in English.

In this 80 hour course, participants will :

• understand current methodology for teaching English in a foreign language setting practice creating activities for all skill areas
• be able to integrate grammar, music, drama, and art into language activities observe local language classrooms
• receive a Certificate in Teaching English in English from the School of Teaching ESL

This course is tentatively scheduled for May 4-May 29, 2009. Registration will begin in March 1, 2009. Stay tuned for more information.

Coming Fall Quarter 2009:
EPDES 961 - Teaching Business English

Beginning Monday, September 14th, 2009 Teaching Business English will be offered as an evening class. Details coming soon.
