Summer Intensives

Summer Intensives are available for individuals who wish to study full time for short periods of time. When considering any intensive course, be sure to read "Is intensive right for me?" to help you determine if this format suits you.

  • One and two week intensive courses may be combined with other online and/or evening courses towards TESOL certificates and/or the Washington State ELL Endorsement.
  • Under certain guidelines, credits earned may be protected for graduate status.
  • Each summer intensive has a registration deadline of one week before the class begins. NOTE: Registered students must obtain required textbooks by this time in order to complete pre-class homework assignments.
  • One or two week intensive classes differ from the Four Week Intensive, which is offered year round.

All student, including continuing students, must be advised before registering for any intensive class. Please contact the S-TESL office for information.
